Sichuan Provincial Orthopedic Hospital
Sichuan Orthopedic Hospital (Chengdu Sports Hospital, Chengdu Sports Injury Research Institute) was founded in 1958 and is the first sports hospital in China. Under the instruction of Marshal He Long to "set up a sports hospital", it was founded by Professor Zheng Huaixian, a generation of martial arts masters and the founder of the Sichuan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Zheng's Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedics. The hospital focuses on the three-dimensional development of medicine, teaching, and research. It has 1 national key discipline, 5 national key TCM specialties, 1 provincial key discipline, and 9 provincial key TCM specialties (special diseases).
The hospital is a non-directly affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a non-directly affiliated hospital of Chengdu Sport University, the National Orthopedics Continuing Education Base for Advantaged Disciplines of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Resident Standardized Training Coordination Base, Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Resident Training Base, Sichuan Province The first national bone disease prevention and treatment base, Sichuan Province Traditional Chinese Medicine Emergency Rescue Platform. It is the teaching practice base of 12 colleges and universities including Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chengdu Sports University.
